Someone recently asked me how I’d like to be remembered after my death, and this is what I told them:
I’d like people to remember me as Emma Goldman…with yarns, queens, brooches, dogs, and dick jokes.

As annoying and tiresome as is all this snipping and sniping and embittered battling and infighting over here on The Left with The EPIC Showdown at The OK Corral that is the current, patently-fractured Democratic Party…my truest sympathies today go out to all decent moderate Republicans out there — and, trust me, I actually DO know a few! — those who are NOT openly racist, misogynistic, anti-science, anti-choice, and anti-gay marriage…who are being forced to hold their noses when they go to the polls today and cast their vote for the NOXIOUS, DESPICABLE, ABSURD, RACIST, SEXIST, HOMOPHOBIC, HATEFUL, CARTOON campaign policies being DISINGENUOUSLY fronted by this guy right here (who, by the way, I just so personally happen to believe is NONE OF THOSE THINGS — but that, Mein Poppets, is another tale for another time.)
All this, mind you, knowing FULL WELL that to not support him now and in November by not showing up at the polls at all means that they will most assuredly be the future recipient of a grand imaginary mash note of gratitude, hand-delivered, by their worst fucking nightmare ever, that reads:
“Hillary Rodham Clinton thanks you for your vote.”
But…maybe, just maybe, that was the point all along.
And, then, there’s what REALLY FUCKIN’ MATTERS.
